NBA opening night live: Overtime drama in OKC; Lakers, Warriors duel in L.A.

The NBA season is officially here! The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets are opening 2025-26, as the defending champs look to start their season off strong against Kevin Durant and his new crew.

The Golden State Warriors, meanwhile, face off against the Los Angeles Lakers to end the night. Luka Doncic debuts for his first full season with the Lakers -- however, it will be without LeBron James, who is set to miss three or four weeks with sciatica.
